1. Service Description

2ATracker is a web and mobile application for tracking firearms inventory, NFA documents, ammunition, and shooting sessions with zero-knowledge encryption. We provide the platform; you own your data.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and recovery key.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms ownership and possession.

3. Encryption & Data Loss

Your data is encrypted with a key derived from your password. Due to our zero-knowledge architecture:

• We cannot recover your data if you lose both your password and recovery key.
• We cannot reset encryption or provide decrypted data under any circumstances.
• You are solely responsible for securely storing your recovery key.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Reverse-engineer the encryption or authentication systems.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free tier: Limited to 3 firearms and 3 ammo types.
• Standard ($5/month or $48/year) and Pro ($10/month or $96/year) tiers unlock additional features.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card information.
• You may cancel at any time. Your subscription continues until the end of the billing period.
• Downgrading to Free does not delete data but may restrict access to tier-locked features.

6. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We perform maintenance and deployments with minimal downtime.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

7. Data Export & Portability

You can export your full inventory as CSV or JSON at any time. If we ever discontinue the service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice for data export.

8. Limitation of Liability

2ATracker is provided "as is." We are not liable for data loss due to lost passwords/recovery keys, service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our control. The service is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
